Landline portable antenna phones had some prettybad channel bleed, esp if you live in an apt complex with a local Walmart - bunch of phones would all be the same cheapo Panasonic (or whatever) model and we'd hear someone pretty often if you stand in the right spot.
Only if they're mismatched from one end to the other. You can use any color cable as long as both ends go in the same color port (eg yellow cable connecting the red ports). Also, you could totally do redPort-whitePort, your Left/Right would just be reversed.
I commented earlier that having to say more words is inefficient, but what yiu said made me think... In other languages I know, it's basically spoken as "3rd August'... Eliminating the inefficiency. It's really more English's general inefficiency that irks me, more so than the order of the dates lol
Honestly it can take an hour just to get out of NYC from Manhattan, hitting the beginning of suburbs. It can then take another 30-60 to get through suburbs, depending on which direction youre headed.
Switches 3 and 4 are single points of failure. The other 2 & 5 are completely redundant unnecessary.
You can just use 2 switches total, cross-connect each to upstream, and do vLANs/subnets to isolate the traffic downstream.
Edit: if you really wanna do physical separation and you want redundancy you'd want to connect 2&5 to both routers.
Honestly tho textbook network with that many nodes for so few devices is already overkill for home, so doing that many switches is just... Idk man, doing full stack troubleshooting for an hour while everyone's just trying to watch a movie is gonna do more hatm than good.
Whoever implements this should probably spin up a ticketing system for the house.

Using the Socialism Units, the PS2 is ~ 300 cubic centimeters larger (roughly the volume of a 6.7cm cube)
(I think the number of iterations of rounding that we've collectively performed here has somewhat skewed the results, but it's pretty close at any rate)
Edit imndoing math in DDG search and it might be 186 cubic centimeters so 5.7cm tall cube, but that seems like a huge variation and now I'm questioning my ability to calculate volume. But it's late on a Fri and my brain is fried.

So like I have a folder called AppImages. I right-click properties allow exec. I make a menu launcher.
I can now move that folder to a new PC, and ... Maybe this is where it shines?... I don't have to right click on each and I don't have to make launchets for each (or clone the menu folder i guess).
Or does it like ... Check for newer versions or something? What am I missing?

But it gets even weirder when you're talking about not even a roadway - so then signage changes between jurisdictions.
I tend to err on the side of caution, but dollars to donuts there's enough ambiguity in that signage you're thinking about where you can't really be ticketed because you can win the argument in court. What results is lack of enforcement (which is another legal defense in and of itself).

R9-4 has an R9-4a where it's words, and I'd bet you that's because someone argued in court that the former bans giving thumbs up, not holding up a hitchhiking sign.

there is no "most" in american signs for common/universal things like skateboarding, swimming, smoking, etc. For almost every every "No" sign that exists, there exists a counterpart "slash" sign. Add to that not every "no" sign is a roadway sign (eg no smoking)
There is a legal difference between Parking, Standing, and Idling a vehicle. Not every jusrisdiction has distinct bans for each, so there isn't a universal way to represent each. You also need qualifiers - any time, or certain hours, or either side of the street, so you get those signs with words.
You can't really do a picto for "No commercial vehicles". I suppose we could do a picto for No Thru Traffic. I could also see that you can do "No Pedestrians Bicycles Motor-driven Cycles" with 3 pictograms (IMO more than like 3 words on a road sign is just a bad idea)
I once saw a study on the Reading Grade Level of various newspapers, and some of them were like 7th grade. This was back in mid-2000s. Sicne Internet News exploded, it feels like it's gotten much worse.

In method 1, it's doing OCR. In method 2, its just reading the raw text data you selected. This is how you can copy text from thing A and Font A, and paste it into thing B with font B (depending on Thing B's paste settings)

I admin various Linux Servers, been through most distros at work and at home. I'm an experienced Linux admin/user. I'm settled on Mint at home for the foreseeable future.
After a long day/week/career doing IT, the last thing I want is for my primary PC to be a project-home. Mint Cinnamon ended up being the home I fell in love with - honestly was expecting it to be another kitchy distro that I would maybe reccommend for noobs (I mean it is also that). I couldn't be happier - LMDE is the only thing that makes me wonder about greener grass.
I haven't gotten to 95% perfect since Ubuntu pre-unity, and that one very long Arch build I did that one time. Even Debian, the home I grew up in, wasn't the home I wanted to live in forever.
No shade on any other Distros/DEs out there. Everyone has different homes and it's their home and I love that people have them and that they're all different, and I want many options to keep existing. Past me would not understand present me's choices.

You can also look for batch image resizer applications, workflow can be much simpler once you've found a set spot for file size and quality.
