My first instinct was Nd2 because you release the attack on the a1-h8 diagonal, hit the king, force him to walk into d4, pinning the knight and then... IF there was another pawn on f2, blocking the escape square of e3, Bxf6 delivers mate in 2...so that's my guess of what it's supposed to look like. Or any other piece that takes away e3 but I think you'd be limited to either rooks or queens and since they could deliver the mate themselves it would introduce alternative solutions so not as desirable as the pawn..

Similar for rugby in Europe. I subscribed last year and only discovered on the first day of the league that I was only getting 50/60% of my team's games in the domestic league, not to mention the other league.

My guess is that you don't hook viewers, emotionally engage and capture their investment in the plot and characters by producing 8-10 episodes. Shows used to do ~24.

If I spend less time with your character while you've got my attention at the start, the connection will more quickly fade away and when it comes to season 2 I have forgotten caring.

Exceptional exceptions excepted.
