No they won't. The party base would rather vote for the worst, pedo protecting, corrupt, double dealing, two faced, cheating, christian in name only republican than a moderate democrat. Example: Ted Cruz.
This is remarkably apt considering it was a competition between people who were never going to win, and were beat out by someone who already knew the boss lady.
Charlotte is a good anime, with the main character kinda being like this in the first episode. But that's it. I highly recomend it because the show has some of the best character growth ive seen in anything.
It's okay everyone, i know this looks like corruption, but it's really not. As per the supreme court, the campaign donation wasn't actually delivered personally to donald trump in a large bag with a dollar sign on it as they said, "I am giving you this money so that you will use your powers as the president if the united states to grant me a pardon." While grinning conspiratorially and twirling the end of their mustache. So we can all calm down and focus on more important things, like how trump raped children.
Yes, but having a physical manifestation of the game allows me to have a plausible reason to have a backup of the complete game in my personal data storage. Not so if my games can only be stored digitally in the publishers walled garden service that can revoke my access for any reason.
That's the thing, the whole idea is a denial of trans existence, because trans women dont exist, its just cis men pretending so they can invade women's spaces. Because its so much easier to go through therapy, and doctors visits, learn how to dress an present as a woman, endure the stigma, run the much higher risk of assault, possibly be ostracized by society, lose one's livelihood, and run a much higher risk of suicide than to just follow a woman into the bathroom with intent to harm her.
I see, i see. Youre right, of course. I just think that maybe good things could happen to more than just ten white guys? Maybe? Like if we just not let them use all their money to exploit everone else, and bribe anyone the might hold them accountable? Maybe?
It's almost as if, and im just spitballing this one, but maybe we dont privatize an essential commodity like energy infrastructure? Or if we do let private companies control it, we heavily regulate them so as to avoid them profiting off of war and death and destruction? I dunno, just a thought.
This is a thing i struggle with a lot because i realized i was trans late. So the term makes sense to me on a superficial level. But it also ignores the lifetime of struggle i had trying to fit in as a male, and disliking so many aspects of male socialization. The term is avoiding conflict, while still denying the experience of trans women.
Also to add to your point, so much of anti-trans rhetoric is structured around the idea that all cis men are actively preying women.
Actually im not. I deal with old books every day. What youre talking about is the modern publishing space where books get pulped by the millions because they are textbooks that weren't picked up by enough schools. Or theyre no longer the latest edition. Even regular consumer books get pulled for not having enough sales.
The used market is still full of these books even after being abandoned by the publishers. But even that market is still driven by demand. Used bookstores only buy books if they think they'll sell. But the thing is they still bulk sell those books that dont have market value because people will buy huge pallets of books for pennies on the dollar.
Yes libraries also recycle books that have been on the shelves too long. And it's hard to sell old library books because of the extreme use they are put through. They do library sales for old books pretty regularly. Most of the time they are pulping books that are worn out. Which still suggests a demand, worn books are read books.
What they're doing is taking old texts from warehouses that are known to be abandoned copyright, since stealing modern writing has proven to be unpopular. And so unknown old works are basically free game. And at best they are saving it digitally, which is good, but then selling access since after destroying the physical copy so as to have a monopoly on the data. And moatly theyre selling it to ai companies to use as training data. So basically theyre squatting old rare text that they have no actual right to.
I think the logic here is that if we punish/eliminate the "bad people" then the world will improve. But we can't just enact policies to help people because if we try to do good things, the "bad people" will just ruin it for everyone. So it all circles back to punish/eliminate the "bad people". And when that inevitably doesnt work, its cause there's still more "bad people", we just have to find them.
Popular doesnt always mean good. Unpopular doesnt always mean bad. There are countless little poetry books that only circulated through clubs. Texts circulated through writing groups that contain works of authors before they were famous.there are rare books you've never heard of that a collector would pay thousands for because they are one of the few people who know its value. Old folios that crossed oceans as the libraries behind them burned in petty wars that sat in attics for generations before the family found it only to send it up wholesale in an estate auction.
The point is that these assholes buy it all up by the truck load and process it indiscriminately. All to avoid copyright, and to feed their environment destroying hallucination machine.
Apparently not you, cause i guarantee that every teacher with experience has had at least one student that turned their humor dark.
Not the people that taught you, i mean friends as an adult.
You dont know any teachers do you?

Literally anything not involving chronic pain or mind numbing boredom?

Because they run on childhood trauma.

Thank you! That's exactly where I was going with it.

Ive got over 350k on my 05' Toyota. I dread trying to buy a newer car.
