PE is a funny sore spot for me. It’s almost impossible to obtain if you’re not working with other PEs, which is unfortunately the vast majority of engineering roles. I think we have one in my company and he’s in a different state. I have a master’s degree in EE and 15 years working as an RF engineer, but I’ll still see a handful of people saying we’re not real engineers because we’re not holding a PE license we’ll never need.
The engineers behind these things need to be heavily blacklisted. “Oh yeah, Justin. He was one of the software engineers behind the garbage truck cameras. Toss his resume in the trash. Erica worked for Flock, toss hers too.”
Employers are already doing this, but I’d love to see it become more prevalent.
The freeze won’t harm the government’s ability to retain and recruit, but law enforcement needs a 3.8% raise to improve retention and recruitment. Got it.
I won’t vote for anyone who isn’t running on a platform of impeaching/charging/catapulting the fuck out of everyone involved in the inhumane fuckery of this term.
In ST II: The Wrath of Khan, Khan tells Chekov (Walter Koenig) that he remembers him despite Koenig not joining the cast until after Khan’s appearance and exile in the episode Space Seed.
That about sums it up, minus much of an intro. It was just straight into it. Space Seed is about 50 minutes long, WoK runs another two hours. Definitely not the best split, but it’s manageable.
Do they have that one cool game where you play as a 15-year-old child trying to escape Epstein Island, or the other one where you mindlessly black out hundreds of thousands of lines of text while ironically mumbling “fidelity, bravery, integrity” to yourself over and over?

Gone off? They’ve been sitting in the Mariana Trench for years.

Thankfully Tim Sweeney kept it off of Linux due to cheating concerns.

Well, used to be anyway.

Cinemark did when I went to Wrath of Khan over the weekend. Episode, quick intermission with enough time for bathroom and snacks, then the film.
