Why censor the word 'fucking'?

Bitrot@lemmy.sdf.org · 36 pts · 2y (3 replies)

Section 702 says swearing on the internet is suspicious and worthy of intelligence targeting.

stevedidwhat_infosec@infosec.pub · 8 pts · 2y (2 replies)

You guys have rules for when the govt targets you for intelligence?

It's hilarious that a gov targets your intelligence when itself needs a service for this in several agencies https://www.dni.gov

stevedidwhat_infosec@infosec.pub · 2 pts · 2y

I think organization of intel is always a good idea - wasn’t aware of this “area” per se tho! Thank you for sharing

The truth is this is a repost of a huge number of reposts. I think I saw this for the first time like 10 years ago.

Somewhere down the line this most likely got posted to a mom group or something where it was censored and nobody bothered to uncensor it.

I think I saw the original urbex pictures from the house. I vaguely remember it. Wonder who broke the golden rule and removed it.

Zozano@aussie.zone · 10 pts · 2y

Excuse you, please censor your f**king words, cunt.

AnUnusualRelic@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 2y

Oh dear, you left it in the open.

Now you've done it.

grrgyle@slrpnk.net · -4 pts · 2y (3 replies)

Why not?

Ok, whether it's blurred or bleeped makes no difference to me. Other people finding a word like fucking objectionable doesn't offend me

Zerush@lemmy.ml · 2 pts · 2y

I find it much more annoying and insulting to put a beep over a word in American videos, if they did this in Spanish videos, you would miss half the dialogue.

show me more from the mansion please

I swear I've seen this exact pose in an illustration, before. I tried searching "coup de gras sword fight duel" and also "fencing fencer manual historic illustration" but couldn't find it, sadly.

ThatWeirdGuy1001@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 2y

I know exactly what image you're thinking of and can picture it perfectly but couldn't describe a single fuckin detail

I wanna say it comes from the treatises or something like that

psud@aussie.zone · 4 pts · 2y

If the weapon was like these (the fine stabbing sword) add "rapier duel painting" or "... drawing"

BuboScandiacus@mander.xyz · 4 pts · 2y (3 replies)

It's "coup de grâce" not "coup de gras", that would mean "fat stab"

Dultas@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Mardi grâce

BuboScandiacus@mander.xyz · 1 pts · 2y

That's "mardi gras"

Idk you meant it as a joke, sorry if you did

FiniteBanjo@lemmy.today · 1 pts · 2y

thats helpful ty

You need to get out more, the internet definitely gets weirder.

UnrepententProcrastinator@lemmy.ca · 2 pts · 2y

Get out Stay in

Etterra@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 2y

Weirder; this looks made out of actual dead frogs. Nowadays we'd just Photoshop this.

TankovayaDiviziya@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 2y

Wait until he/she finds out ancient Romans love to draw and talk about penises, and being vulgar about people they detest on their wall writings.

I reckon it was from the Middle Ages and the influence of Christianity that people became more uptight with anything that is seen in public.

Lilith_the_serpent@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

Probably weirder
