Existence = Life and Glazed Tiny Grains = Frosted Mini Wheats, but I haven't figured out what the other two are.

originalucifer@moist.catsweat.com · 76 pts · 2y (7 replies)

illusions = trix

samus12345@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 2y

Ah, nice! I should have figured that one out.

TaviRider@reddthat.com · 5 pts · 2y (5 replies)

But what’s Weev?

PyroNeurosis@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 15 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Chex, maybe?

TaviRider@reddthat.com · 12 pts · 2y

Ahh, “Weev” is a four-letter version of “Weave” the same way “Chex” is a shortened “Checkerboard”, perhaps referring to the Ralston Purina checkerboard logo.

Crackhappy@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 2y

It looks like Chex, so I suppose that makes sense. Aren't you all focusing on the wrong things though?

redhorsejacket@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 2y

I assumed something like shredded wheat.

Trix and Cookie Crisp I think.

samus12345@lemmy.world · 17 pts · 2y (1 reply)

I think you're right. Cookie = Sweetdisk I can see, but Crisp and Chomp are pretty different.

I_Fart_Glitter@lemmy.world · 17 pts · 2y

I agree. Sweetdisk is established to mean to mean cookie.. Malt O Meal “Cookie Bites” cereal does exist, but it’s a not so well known rip off of Cookie Crisp.

Sotuanduso@lemm.ee · 5 pts · 2y

I thought it was Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but that makes a lot more sense.

aramis87@fedia.io · 0 pts · 2y (5 replies)

I think Sweetdisc Chomp is Honey Nut Cheerios.

ninjabard@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 2y

Sweetdisk is the Strange planet name for cookie

HAL_9_TRILLION@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 4 pts · 2y

I thought Honeycomb.

And Tiny Glazed Grains = Rice Krispies or maybe Smacks.

samus12345@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Hm, but none of the words in the name correspond, plus it's not so much known as a kid's cereal. And Cheerio is established to be Jauntio here.

aramis87@fedia.io · 1 pts · 2y

Honey (sweet) disc (round Cheerios) chomp (nuts). That's how I thought anyway.

Mango@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

Naw that's jauntios.

mydoomlessaccount@infosec.pub · 29 pts · 2y (2 replies)

My favorite was always Cocoa-Based Bloodsucking Supernatural Being of European Nobility.

echodot@feddit.uk · 1 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Coco vampire? Americans have some very strange cereal names.

mydoomlessaccount@infosec.pub · 3 pts · 2y

This mfer right here. Total sugar bomb. Absolutely horrible for you. It's the best.

someguy3@lemmy.world · 18 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Who else turned their phone upside down to check the box?

Easter egg could have been "cocoa encapsulated fructose ordnances?"

el_abuelo@lemmy.ml · 4 pts · 2y

I have been able to identify symbols in the rotated position for some solar cycles now.

Kolanaki@yiffit.net · 9 pts · 2y

Add sweet crystals to the Juantios and it's pretty good.

FiniteBanjo@lemmy.today · 8 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Lucky Charms

Trix

Cinnamon Toast Crunch

Frosted Flakes

Life

Cheerios

Chex

Many human nestlings of the North American variety protest the last two cereal lines because they are a much lower calorie content and sweetness.

xanu@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 2y (1 reply)

I thought the third one was Cookie Crisp

FiniteBanjo@lemmy.today · 1 pts · 2y

Plausible.

Akasazh@feddit.nl · 7 pts · 2y

I first understood the 'earlier consciousness' to mean he was born earlier and hence felt he had right to the cereal of choice

gramie@lemmy.ca · 4 pts · 2y

I have a daily calendar of these cartoons, and it really is the high point of waking up to turn to a new day. Amazingly, my wife also enjoys it (we are very compatible in most things but not humour).

I apologize, I am sure I'm missing something. Where?
