Giveaway: 3000K Acebeam T35 for 3000 members

In honor of !flashlight@lemmy.world reaching 3000 members (yes, I know that was a couple weeks ago), I'm giving away this Acebeam T35 swapped to a 3000 Kelvin, 95 CRI Luminus SFT40. While not as bright as the original 5000K, low-CRI LED, it's sure to satisfy anyone who misses the incandescent look, but likes LED power.

Only accounts that have made a post or comment to !flashlight@lemmy.world prior to this post may enter. You should have a shipping address in the USA or EU, which can be a package forwarding company if necessary. Entry ends on Februrary 14 2025 at 20:00 UTC.

If I had the resources to do that in support of the decentralized internet, I would.

What I do have the resources to do is give away a light in 4000K when we hit 4000 members, so that might be motivation for people who aren't eligible this time to post before then.

Long time lurker and occasional commenter. I stumbled upon /r/flashlight once upon a time, went to candlepower, etc etc.

I haven't made a light purchase in a while, but cleaning up my basement did uncover some large format LEDs I was hoping to mod into a L7. I should either give up or make some progress on that...
