Rat Assisted Takeover

thr0w4w4y2@sh.itjust.works · 23 pts · 1y

a clever one - no one will suspect there’s a whole Raspberry Pi inside that mouse, the network admins won’t remove it because it’s too gross, and the cleaners aren’t allowed within 10ft of any network cabinets so the attacker gains +5 persistence by default.

Idea: train 100000 mice to eat Ethernet cables, step 2 release

shneancy@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y (2 replies)

they don't need training, just gotta find the cable chompers among them and there you go

source: my rats once ate my fiber cable >:| and i know rodents in general enjoy the rubbery feel cables give them

betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 1y

Nature's little backhoes.

Voxel@programming.dev · 1 pts · 301d

Rodents teets are constantly growing. For shortening teets they need to chew on something. Probably cables are very good for chewing.
