Depends. Plenty of fascists do a thing where they attempt to will their own reality, disregarding any information that contradicts this imagined world view.
I have ADHD, I'm sometimes feeling bad when my attention span is not working in my favour. But then I see the Internet Debaters and I feel better. At least I have a measurable attention span. Those people don't.
AfD is only "centrist" if your center is far right. Keeping in mind how difficult it is - for important historical reasons - to mark a political party as extremist in Germany, they must have amassed evidence that would have led to way more extreme reactions in other countries.
