that sounds like how I'd try to explain it but it still doesn't make sense to me. like if i caught an actual subhuman piece of shit, let's say a zionist rapist and child murderer, i still couldn't even imagine taking a selfie with them like this. like wtf is this photo dude.

remember kids, calling things cringe is not a replacement for a personality. have whimsy in your life.

it took me about two years to truly realize i was in my 30s (I'm a bit stupid) but once that happened a massive weight lifted from my shoulders. i suddenly realized, wait, I'm a grown-ass man, i don't have to deal with this bullshit. i became more confident, took no shit from people and stopped dealing with teenage drama. yes about 10 years too late but that's when i realized some of the shit i used to entertain didn't even matter.

not for people I know. it's stupid. it's not like "mom". I'm not putting down relationships that can change at any time.

i thought that was obvious. I mean the contact name is "manager"... isn't the point that people wish they would respond like this?

the issue is not whether it is normal. that's not even a therapist's concern. the issue is whether it's healthy. the perspective is skewed as well. a "normal" reaction to an extremely abnormal situation is by definition not normal. "normally" people aren't perpetually angry because they don't "normally" go through what you've been going through.

PTSD is a "normal" reaction to trauma. should people who suffer from devastating PTSD not seek help because it's a normal reaction? completely skewed way to look at it.

i don't want anyone to feel conflicted because they like harry potter and hate jowling kowling rowling. i want them to feel peace with not watching or reading harry potter because it's a terribly written story by a talentless hack who got extremely lucky. literally everything about it is awful, the characters, the plots, the conclusions...

please get over your nostalgia. you're not a child anymore, just think about how much you projected your own good will into a story full of bigotry and vile.
