I wish my enemies were more logical. They just make bullshit up and bully me instead. Completely useless for self-improvement.

Saaaaaame. It hits different when your enemies are unethical sociopaths.

I think this post would resonate more for me, personally, if "enemy" was replaced with "curmudgeon".. but then it probably wouldn't get as many clicks.

Well, that's just your own fault for being shit at identifying cheeses.

If only all enemies had such ethical standards.

The really crucial thing is to have enemies who are subordinate to an Ethics Review Board.

That sounds like it could have been written by Pratchett

Small wonder, I've read something like fifty of his books at least once. More often twice.

Oh, it must be dreamy to have a costumed nemesis. Chasing you... wringing his gloved hands in concern of your every move. It sounds so romantic.. 🥰

Yeah, I hate how everyone but me does that

Being a scientist today means you are "smart" in a very narrow and limited area of expertise. Outside of that area, shit goes downhill fast.

I can't find the link but scientists and academics are thought to be heavily targeted with affinity fraud schemes because they rarely report when they are duped.

So how does one Gling?

There are some tech circles where you'll get more and better help posting a blatantly wrong solution than if you straight ask for help.

You can measure the quality of a man by the measure of his enemies

To my enemies

Those were the best days of our lives

When our hate made us feel alive
