Also mildly interesting is that you noticed it. Or maybe that’s very interesting? Anyway I’m saying I wouldn’t have noticed!

Right? Red white and blue, but otherwise the same car for the most part.

spongebue@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 1y (1 reply)

This is America, where that's considered a mid-sized SUV and pretty much everybody has one. But honestly I'm happy to see different colors here - pretty much every car these days is black, white, gray, or silver.

I use an orange antennae ball, just so that I can pick my vehicle out of a lineup...

victorz@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 1y (2 replies)

Is it cool to salute the American flag these days?

bigbabybilly@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y (1 reply)

What do I know? I’m Canadian haha. I saw the red, white, n blue and thought “murka”.

victorz@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 1y

I'm Scandinavian, but I still wouldn't salute the American flag considering all the shit going down. It's been tainted.

Hope you enjoyed the festival! My in-laws are sorta from the area so I've been going every year for almost 20 years

Hah, my sympathies. I'm in York for the night, enroute to Denver

LovableSidekick@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 1y (1 reply)

Another fun thing about 3 letters: pick any 3 and google them + "trucking". 9 times out of 10 there will be one or more companies with that name.

Example: JCX

there is no neurotypical explanation for this

Between two states, and they chose a letter/number combination that looks like any other plate? 🤔

Quibblekrust@thelemmy.club · 1 pts · 1y (1 reply)

As opposed to a partially different state? Is SC only partially different from NC?

spongebue@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 1y

Hmm. Iowa lists the home county on their license plates, so I'm going to say that's a partially different state. But mostly, touché.
