MAN: command not found

Don't shout. He's shy.

Is this mansplaining?

Ganbat@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 16 pts · 1y

Is mansplaining short for manualsplaining?

Another reason to use Emacs: woman pages

judgyweevil@feddit.it · 3 pts · 1y (3 replies)

Or, you know, make an alias

HappyFrog@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 4 pts · 1y

I think they wanted to rep Emacs though

404@lemmy.zip · 3 pts · 1y (1 reply)

Might as well do alias nvim=vim while you're at it

ftbd@feddit.org · 1 pts · 364d

I actually do that on machines that don't have nvim, because that's easier than adjusting my muscle memory

MTK@lemmy.world · 17 pts · 1y (2 replies)

How many natural language search tools for GNU manuals have been written and called "mansplain?"

phoenixz@lemmy.ca · 6 pts · 1y

I know you're joking but I have talked to people before arguing things like "human being" being anti feminist because it should be huwoman or some shit like that.

I know, crazies, but there have been a lot of them

Having said that, just the obligatory "I don't care if you're man woman trans or whatever, as long as you're happy and don't be a dick to other people"
