There literally existed a simple, non-AI version of this, but for some reason that wasn't good enough I guess.

I really wish you hadn't pointed this out to me

The unicorn also has forward-facing eyes like the horses in Skyrim, implying that the unicorn is a predator.

Verdorrterpunkt@feddit.org · 2 pts · 351d

Well, what do you think the horn is for?

Also, the Swordfish picture is nasty stuff.

ms_lane@lemmy.world · 15 pts · 352d

Slop is the new JPEG artifact.

Between the piranha and bikini whale...

"Rock lobster!"

TallonMetroid@lemmy.world · 34 pts · 352d (4 replies)

Why use a two-horned white rhino when the Indian rhino (ie Rhinoceros unicornis) exists?

Dojan@pawb.social · 9 pts · 352d

Bicorn representation.

ilinamorato@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 352d (1 reply)

And why use a swordfish when the narwhal exists?

N0MAD@sh.itjust.works · 5 pts · 352d

Best guess is because they aren't fast like a swordfish though marlins as a species are typically faster than swordfish

ICastFist@programming.dev · 1 pts · 352d

That's the APC unicorn

swagmoney@lemmy.ca · 28 pts · 352d (5 replies)

slop detected

PotatoesFall@discuss.tchncs.de · 9 pts · 352d (4 replies)

I mean for the unicorn fair enough but why have AI generate a picture of two well-known animals with plenty of pictures available?

Zink@programming.dev · 5 pts · 352d (2 replies)

But why do all that work when I can just add a few words to my prompt and let the AI burn through more energy than it would have taken to drive myself to the zoo?

lime@feddit.nu · 1 pts · 352d

that's an error in the range of multiple orders of magnitude and you know it

REDACTED@infosec.pub · 1 pts · 351d

Genuinely curious - how much one generation do you think consumes in terms of energy?

vivalapivo@lemmy.today · 2 pts · 351d

picture of two well-known animals

They do not exist. It's a conspiracy

lugal@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 20 pts · 352d (6 replies)

Looks AI. This is giving the myth that unicorns aren't real

svcg@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 9 pts · 352d (3 replies)

I hate to break it to you, but unicorns aren't real because horses aren't real.

ICastFist@programming.dev · 4 pts · 352d

What????? Then what are all those horsecock dildos shaped after??????

edgemaster72@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 352d

A corollary of the famous Eye-Mirror Principle by modern philosopher J. Christopher Smith

lugal@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 2 pts · 352d

This is just false and you know it. I play enough chess to have seen horseys first hand. If you only play online chess, you are forgiven for not realizing but once you take the pieces into your hand, you know all of them are real.

Maybe you confuse it with birds. Birds were real but went extinct like all the other dinosaurs. Modern "birds" are governmental drones. Giraffes btw are mythical creatures but horses and unicorns are real.

50_centavos@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 352d (1 reply)

What's more believable? That unicorns are fictional? Or giraffes?

That's a siege unicorn. Assault unicorns are small and painted black

AnUnusualRelic@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 352d

Second image is obviously a bicorn.

Jankatarch@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 352d (2 replies)

How tf are narvals real animals.

shalafi@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 352d (1 reply)

Always get a laugh when someone admits they thought narwhals were made up. Maybe I got it from Ranger Rick as a kid, but I feel I've always known about them.

fading_person@lemmy.zip · 2 pts · 351d

I learned about the existence of narwhals when ubuntu made a version named after then.
