Surreptitiously swap two numbers. He may never notice, but if he does, it'll drive him mad. "Was it always wrong? Did I look like a fool the entire time? Did everyone notice?"
I don't want to defend the Honda Element here, because it is ugly as fuck. But I will say, I got into a friend's Element a few years ago and was shocked at how much space it has inside.
Other cars pull a lot of tricks to make them "feel" more roomy inside. But Honda just went "fuck it, big ass cube" and didn't need any tricks.
Absolutely my favorite vehicle I have ever had. My mom was disabled and we have had to use SUVs and pickups and vans my whole life, before anyone jumps me for the environmental aspect. But it was genuinely the nicest vehicle I've ever had. Loved everything about it.
We're not really at the point of any sort of enforcement, yet - still the Arbitrarily Allied Humour Standardisation System is essentially in the stages of communication and education.
AAHSS enforcement remains over the horizon, at this stage
I don't know why we have the letter elemen, the only word we use it in is element we should remove it. It's a pity it's the best part of the song though.
For how much the owners rave about these, I'm surprised they stopped making them. I'm further surprised it hasn't come back as a hybrid. I'll continue to be surprised if they never build another car under this badge again.

Some people just want to watch the nerds squirm.

...kinda looks cool. Fun bit from close up, and looks like chrome line from afar.

It wasn’t as long when I fist saw it, but I don’t know if it got longer than this as I moved away years ago.

distracts from the sleek shoebox aerodynamics

Hey it's not your fault they're not building electric vehicles that are as friendly to the disabled!

Still way more aerodynamic than the smallest model truck in the USA

Sad that these cars didn't get better gas mileage, but the aerodynamics are indeed terrible.

He can do that on his Element but not on my accord!

Nice double entendre.
Sadly, that's Thursdays theme - this is casual racism Wednesday (or of you're east of the international date line: inappropriate touching Tuesday)...
jaded_genie@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 337d
Damn, I didn’t check. Is it too late to leave a racist comment or should I wait for Wednesday again?

But it's your civic duty

Only 50 Element owners can do this in the U.S. without having to come up with some different approach.

I want to so bad but I just sunk half the cost of one into my current car. I should’ve followed my gut.

"Elemeno" reminds me of the decabet skit.
