Those mics sound pretty sensitive, I wonder if they would handle a targeted pressure wave (eg shot at by an empty spud gun) or significant water ingress (shot with a super soaker)
Its safe to assume these are IP67 rated, so a super soaker is out.
Mic is going to be a condenser. Heavy vibration and severe temperature changes (outside of moisture, which... Well see previous) would be the most likely options to explore.
I wonder if the mounting is such that you could lob something thick and sticky at them, or squirt something that might break down the IP rating within a week or two
There has to be ports for pickup on the mic, otherwise it won't work. Channeling those openings distorts audio significantly, so likely mounting of an omnidirectional mic is going to be facing downward, mounted below the other unit.
Hypothetical question - how does one go about disabling such a device? If one of these happens to be located in an area that is fairly easy to reach without being seen by it, or identified... Hypothetically, of course.

This is fun until they show up in Swat and kill anything that moves.

I wonder how they handle those crowd control weapons that play noises that can physically incapacitate you then.
