This is the second time I saw this picture and only now I noticed his tattooed ass is in the picture too 😆 He somehow just blends with the tacky decor so well that my eyes glazed over him
Same, all I see is a very sad little boy whose father or mother left some deep emotional scars on, desperately seeking the attention and love he seemingly never got. It's honestly very sad, and I honestly pity him for that.
I'm sure you mean "there isn't an ability threshold where you deserve to be a monarch".
But it does sorta read like "no one ever won a race by being the fastest, they win the race because everyone else is slower". There are qualities that predispose people to leadership.
It's the same as religions .... and it all boils down to sales and salesmanship and marketing.
I know lots of charismatic people who could talk to you endlessly about bullshit and get you buy a used car and make you believe that it's the best purchase for your situation ... and they'll make you believe that they are your best friend in the world.
Those same people are the same individuals that can make you believe all sorts of things ... things like you should give them money in order to make the world a better place. Then they go on to convince other people to do the same.
You could say that their biggest skill is that they are salesmen but that's only half the problem. The other half of the problem is that these sales people also attract the dumbest people. The combination of moderately capable salespeople and an extremely dumb community of people creates a group of individuals that can give one person a lot of power ... then it creates a snowball effect where the small community attracts more dumb people and the community grows giving the one dumb idiot that started the whole thing more and more power.
The dumb idiot leader built their power and prestige on the stupidity of a mass of people. The more dumb illiterate and ignorant people you have in the world ... the more likely this scenario will occur.
You're talking about the people who scheme their way to power.
I'm just saying there are definitive qualities that good leaders need. The correct mixture of self-assurance, insight, and humility to ask for guidance on the best way forward and stick to it without crumbling. A "leader" is an organizational role and their proper skillset is in setting the course and ironing put inter-departmental communications so everyone can do what they need to.
But I realize we are straying further and further from your initial comment about populist leaders, like those currently in power.
Its only a flex to extraordinarily insecure (and in some cases paranoid) men.
Your average working Joe who isn't a MAGA moron looks at this with disgust and a desire to see his ass taxed more heavily.
Your average MAGA cultist dipshit thinks this is peak existence and what all [white] men should strive for, and anything else is subhuman and beta. This is because this appeals to men who are deeply insecure and desperate to compensate for that insecurity by hiding it behind wealth and weapons.
These types of pathetic shitheads aren't just American, BTW. Cunts like Andrew Tate have a lot of international fans. Just look up the big "free Andrew Tate" protest that occurred in Greece when he was arrested.
I think it's a pretty specific (and stupid) sub-culture.
Most Americans I know see being careless with guns as "Darwin award" kind of flex.
I know some gun collectors with valuable collections. Typically a decent portion of the value of the whole collection is tied up in clean secure safe storage: gun locks, gun safes, dehumidifiers, separate amo storage, locking display cases, etc.
As one told me "I still treat guns like toys - I just treat them like really fucking dangerous life threatening toys."
As an American, I do not understand it at all. I think most of it is just juvenile and they don't want to be told what to do and like to see shit blow up. Which is fine. I like watching a good action flick and understand it's a story telling device. But when you go deeper with them it turns into a dumb joke. I really don't think they think more about it then "come stop me".
I personally think its the idea of "don't touch me or me and my gang gon' fuck you up".
At least that's what I see after watching newer rap music videos romanticizing old gang war concepts in newer popular hits. Then seeing shitty streamers doing the exact same thing the videos show.
I know it's not just rap stuff, but that's just the easiest example that comes to my mind atm.
This is why I think people who insist the generation war is a smokescreen are full of shit. People with lacking neuroplasticity need to step the fuck aside.
Most of the rest of the world will also be impressed by the top pic more than the bottom pic.
You won't believe how many people want good health care over spiritual catharsis.
Good health care doesn't take a bunch of money and a cunt in a rented, grounded (supposedly) jet. A dog and a beach is a pretty fuckin nice holiday or retirement goal
Yeah I think you're right, there is no way they are flying around with so many unsecured articles in the cabin. Or maybe the world would get lucky and the pilots would decide to lock the cockpit door and practice stall and spin recovery.
I had a bit of heartburn from too much Christmas turkey and went to see 3 different doctors, got prescribed some medication and spent the night at the hospital.
The money in this picture wouldn't cover that in the US, I paid like 20 euros for the pills and that's it.
Says something about that state of the world that the poor guy can't afford a holdall for his savings and his much needed protection on account of being a terminal prolapse.

It's so nice that he could also include all his friends in that picture.

It’s got a suppressor to, so the pilots won’t know he’s dead till they land.

I wonder how it’ll impact the plane if there are a few holes in it midflight.

The biggest problem is not exactly him ... it's the same problem with Trump .... it's the legions of mindless stupid people that follow them.
Kings aren't kings because of their intelligence, strength, ability or even the power or will of God.
Kings are kings because of the stupidity of a community of people
Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works · 8 pts · 250d
Most kings aren't famously chosen by people. Even Trump was only chosen by less than a third of eligible voting age Americans.

Can an American explain to me why having random guns strewn around is a flex? What concept is being flexed? Do y’all fancy yourself local warlords?
