People here on the fediverse were saying that a vote for Harris is a vote for genocide, but not really mentioning Trump at all. Well, people on the tankieverse anyway, idk if your instance has them defederated or not.
The comment you replied to was a reference to this. A reminder that people here told voters to stay home because Harris was so awful.
Which likely didn't have much an effect on the election result, but we're allowed to be bitter about the entire thing. Anyone with a brain knew Trump would be worse, but people in bad faith argued that Trump didn't support the genocide in Palestine so Harris was the worse, more violent option.

What's interesting for me is the last 20 or so years of hearing people talk about how Iran or NK or whoever should never have nuclear weapons because, you know, their leaders may just be crazy enough to use them. (When historically nukes have proven to be the best deterrent against the belligerent aggression of major world powers.)
And here in the US, we're on our third admin in a row run by someone with evident, public mental illness and travels with an arsenal of nukes at his fingertips.
The world has a breaking point where they won't put up with the US' shit anymore, and we may find out what that is in 2026.

Rush is going off about how it's none of America's business to police Iran's nuclear capability and that Iran has the right to develop not only power stations, but weapons, for the same reasons you outline. He argued for some time on the subject.
I'd kill for a recording of that because I'm pretty certain he flipped the script once Obama was in and trying to limit Iran's nuclear ambitions.
