Isn't it strange that the Twitter Nazi is somehow always portrayed as a member of the government as a matter of course? I mean, he was never elected by anyone, was he?
As a European, that alone strikes me as rather strange, but given everything else the regime gets away with, it's probably a minor detail - still, I find it quite telling what absurd access rights were granted to an unofficial "advisor"...
The US government is full of unelected positions. The difference this time is one of them was created to have an unprecedented level of power and used it to cripple his adopted country.
This might come as a surprise, but the overwhelming majority of the executive branch aren't elected neither in the US, nor in any European country. I'd like to see elections for hundreds of thousands of positions in the executive government in whatever country you're in.
Of course, I am fully aware of that. Ministerial posts are usually filled by politicians from the respective party who, incidentally, have been elected to one political office or another. Or by experts in their respective fields, which is more of an exception. Of course there are lots and lots of unqualified people in these positions elsewhere in the world.
But this clown show???
There isn't a single minister in the US administration who is even remotely qualified for their office - most of them aren't even politicians in the broadest sense, but merely friends of the orange child molester.
Are you trying to tell me that there's anything normal about that?
Well, that's true, but it's also strange. Ministers are usually elected politicians or experts in their field. I can't say who the craziest choice in this administration is: the talk show host as defense secretary, the right wing podcaster FBI director, or perhaps the wrestling promoter who is education secretary, or even the washed-up B-list celebrity, second-rate TV personality president himself....it's a pretty tough choice.
It’s not really that strange. The reason American democracy is in a failed state is because of SCOTUS decisions like Buckley v Valeo and Citizens United, which paved the way for unlimited bribe money to flow into politics.
The natural conclusion of that is the world’s richest man simply buying his way into politics to do whatever he likes, which in this case involved dismantling any investigation into his or his companies’ wrongdoing, and stealing financial data on all Americans from the treasury before dipping out into his Nazi K-hole.
In America, if you’re rich enough, you are the government. One of the many ways capitalism has failed us.
Until you remember that he is supposed to be in charge of the FBI and not in charge of snorting lines flying around the USA chasing his country music girlfriend.
As someone who used to be into Tarot a long time ago, I love this. It's got the vibe many new Tarot creators were going for. Kash Patel is absolutely uncanny. And it could be extended easily; what's a Tarot without a Tower or Hanged Man. But unfortunately the creator says:
Nah there's about 70 more cards to make a full deck, I aint painting 70 more Trump losers 😄
Who's bottom right btw? Is it this ICE officer that's been in the media lately, in Chicago iirc? Looks a bit like GW Bush to me.

I love how everyone's face is some horrific cartoon version of their real face, except for Vance, where it's just his fat meme with some mild edits.
