They say God works in mysterious ways. As an athiest, if I am wrong, and god does exist, he doesn't work in mysterious ways. He's playing The Sims, and enjoys torturing everyone. He removes the ladder from the pool.

Either that, or he's AFK, and will come back to see how we've developed over the past 2000 years. And he'll be like "the fuck are they DOING???"

Fun fact: that's pretty much exactly what the bible says is happening.

I yearn for a future in which we have mutilated angels powering the reactors that fuel our cities with their 'divine' energy. Energy that will let us invade hell in order to find some free demonic energy for more power before we go into the stars and fight the aliens.

Drill, baby, drill!

Demonic and angelic essence are more powerful than the remains of the ancient dragons.

It'll be enough to help us venture into the stars before we properly control fusion

We demonstrated that ex vivo pig skin most closely resembles human skin in physiological, histological, and structural aspects...

Not an insult. Your skin smells nice and porky today btw.

As a point of pedantry, humans can't have the voice box of a parrot, because parrots have a syrinx and not a larynx.

Edit: Maybe this is actually a fun fact, idk sometimes

It's able to make some insanely detailed sound

Not a parrot, but someone was able to reconstruct an image from data they encoded into sound and taught to a starling (I think, I don't have headphones and the species isn't in the title or description XD)

That's not fair for the global majority, but I see where you're coming from.

Wheels-within-wheels-and-eyes-all-over just applauds this perfectly normal phenomenon. Guess it sees things differently.
