I live in Australia where this has already been rolled out. I used a sample licence they said "Sam s sample" and had a picture of Mr bean. It worked first try.
Well, I never actually used the account. So it was the only message I could send. It was surprisingly easy compared to most account deletion processes. Like 3 clicks. Not the worst use of a poo break.
