Excuse me, GOD wrote that and he obviously knew what monkeys are. And they didn't have to live in that region, the monkey kind couple migrated there before the flood, just like kangaroos did.
Land animals (Leviticus 11:1–8; 26–30; Deuteronomy 14:6–8) that had completely split or “cleft” hooves and chewed the cud were considered clean and suitable for eating. Any land animals that did not meet this rule were unclean.
Sounds to me like monke would be unclean, so it checks out.
Ya, that doesn't look like a conference room where anyone would entertain "high net worth clients". Cramped, metal window frames, crappy furniture, cheap ceiling tiles. This looks like a room where someone would watch sexual harassment and forklift safety videos before they start working in a warehouse.
If I saw this in my lawyer's office, I'd take my papers anywhere else. I don't mind personality in an office, but I'm not comfortable with the personality I'm getting from this

I'm not an expert, but I don't think monkeys would have been considered clean in this context though. I'm pretty sure they're not kosher.

Who knows. The person who wrote that probably didn’t know what a monkey was. I don’t think there are monkeys native to the region, so the only people who likely saw them were nobility and the tradesmen who worked for them.
