Prompting is obviously a skill that you can improve, but if you compare it with the skills they are trying to replace it's a very basic skill. Going through a computer science program and a few years of work experience vs figuring out what prompts it tends to fuck up and learn to safe guard against that (as much as you can) are different leagues, different sports, different everything.
It's like saying that if you don't start using lemmy now, you'll fall behind when the year off the fediverse is upon us, when you'll just pick it up as well if need be.
Yeah therev was some version of it called Optimus as well I think. I installed kinoite on my old xps9570 and handed it to my brother and he's been gaming on it so the dedicated card surely works. Can't remember exactly what I did but I think I had to start steam with a specific param or something.
As an individual, his LLM carbon footprint and money used to purchase AI services aren't going to matter at all. But him being one of the world's highest profiled software engineers who's openly using these tools is very good publicity for them.
I think the anti ai crowd has been focusing on the slop angle too much, the horrible malpractice of these companies is the real problem imo. If it really is only slop it will die out by itself.
An ally gladly cooks vegan, endorses restaurants with good alternatives, eat vegan cuisine.
Everyone has different struggles and priorities. Some people fly, some drive a car, some use LLMs etc. Doesn't mean they're evil. For me being vegan is really really easy, and I know that's not the case for everyone. But I know a lot of people who eat very little dairy and meat because they believe in the cause.
Homo sapiens sapiens have not existed for millions of years, more like 160-230 thousand years.
We have never in our history eaten nearly as much meat as the average American is today.
"Alternatives" to meat are mostly vegetables, beans, lentils, seeds and grains who all are vastly superior from an environmental position than meat. Bio engineered vegan meat doesn't really exist in stores. If you mean meat substitutes like vegan burgers they're all very different. Some are healthy and environmentally sound, and some are slop. Meat is always worse from an environmental perspective however.
The way we produce the majority of meat today is really unethical. Being vegan is a way to not partake.
It's also not all or nothing. I think anyone who cuts down meat to any extent is doing something good.
At the end of the day, you have to figure out what makes sense to you. For me veganism is an easy choice but I love and respect many people who prioritize other things. Just like I do things that everyone else doesn't agree with.
It's always good to ask questions, so keep that up!
I went to a show and Divide and dissolve were opening and I was blown away by how a two person outfit could sound that intense. They're also really cool and I happen to wear their t-shirt right now.
My 10 year old had started beating me at Chess, been practicing on Duolingo. It feels weird but this was the end goal, right? Having them surpass you and all. But yeah didn't expect it to happen already.
If I recall correctly kiedis used his connections to get bungle cancelled from some festivals and also got California delayed.
Such a shitty tiny little person who hates that Patton is 100 times the singer than he could ever be. Also Mike seems like he's not a junkie and generally a decent and nice guy which can not be said about Anthony.
Everyone will choose their values and battles. Sure it can feel provocative with anti AI people eating a burger while bashing people for not minding the environment, but telling people who are doing something, that it's not enough or even wrong, will not help the vegan cause.
How does your neck muscles look? I can imagine you get some workout and some tear.
Using as computer monitor, is that nice? Like coding or writing documents etc? Do they act like a monitor or do you use several workspaces so it feels like multiple monitors?

Sorry I can't be of more help.
Cross compatibility betong one of the things that's not very necessary in an OS.

Strictly anecdotal but everyone I know, from leftist to liberal, are positive to others being vegan. They just don't do it themselves.

I loved ICQ! I'm sure some people thought it was a horrible idea to see people type in real time but to me it was peak messenging.
The Lewinsky affair moved him up a few notches.

Honestly, being played with by Marks kids probably increased their value more than original packaging.

Every little step matters. Some people think it's all or nothing but I think 20% is much better than 5%.
Glad to have you here!

It seemed so plausible!
Fair point. They will at least try to look like they're being humane while still "being responsible" but that's about it.
Luckily the current coalition is down like 10% and the election is in three weeks.

I wasn't aware this was an option.
