going in to fight or flight mode is not a failure, and breathing exercises can help you come out of it before you do something you regret
also, it's better to practice those breathing exercises BEFORE you need them lol

Too many people don't understand this. They just expect me to be "normal," as if I can just magically choose to do that.
It's not my fault they weren't surrounded by toxic people growing up and never learned what that does long-term to one's psyche!
