Well, sure, war is rarely profitable for the participants, but it's very often profitable for the giant corporations in charge of supplying the weapons and other gear, and who lobby heavily to ensure the people who are willing to make up a reason to go to war are also the ones who get to decide whether to go to war. War is nothing more than another corporate profit push at the expense of the populace.
I get the point but honestly: Why does that matter?
If we only accept judgement or action by 'perfect individuals' aka. 'heroes' the world won't ever get better as influential humans are still humans and often have, by design, flaws and mistakes build within them and their character.
Does that mean we shouldn't judge anyone for their actions? Obviously not.
But to claim that ones vision or ideas are outright wrong due to ad-hominem argumentation against their personal flaws is also bullshit.
You'll always find something to point out, especially with historical figures. Since, ironically due to their imperfect actionism, our social norms have improved and we often rightfully so critizise things deemed normal during their time.

That's not JFK. It's Harvey Milk, an early gay rights movement advocate and the first openly gay person elected to office in California.
Also the meme wasn't 'about how religion is the problem.' The song and meme suggest the problem is artificial separations, othering people, judging them, treating subjective reality as objective truth. No heaven or hell because all there is is this life. No imaginary borders that mean you are meant to prioritize 'us' over 'them'. No killing them or dying for us. No religions telling you that those in other religions are wrong, immoral, dangerous, evil, etc. The take away is meant be that we should seek peace, equality, and inclusivity. That were all the same at our core.
There is always distrust and something to die for. Let's take your friends and family? What if someone kills your partner either just for fun (which does happen) or because of a differing morale. What now? Can you still trust people for this not happening again?
Don't get me wrong, I am also hoping for a better, freeer and more trustworthy world. More peace and such but you cannot expect this just from simplification.

Now that we live in a post Roman world, a lot of people only know the Roman way of doing things. A lot of people want equality, but instead of believing in all religions, they think the equal thing to do is destroy all religions. Destroy so many people's culture. That's what equality is thought of in a post Roman world. The Romans fucked us all up, man.

Also it's a cute sentiment to suggest that you believe in all religions. But that's not actually possible. Many religions are wholly incompatible. Hell many denominations of Christianity are incompatible. You can't believe in karmic reincarnation and in the Christian afterlife. You can't believe as the Norse myth says, that the world was formed of the body of a giant, Ymir, killed by Odin and his brothers, and the Egyptian myth that a god masturated and/or sneezed and spat two gods into existence who mated to form the earth and sky. You can't believe in the one true God, Allah, the Greek Pantheon, and the non-personified Dao. Not all of these basic tenets of these religions can be true simultaneously.
So either, you're lying, your understanding of world religions is incredibly limited, or you just cherry pick whatever you like from whatever religion you like and pretend you have even half coherent beliefs in the end.
I don't believe in the exclusionary parts, like "you shall have no other gods before me". But I do believe in all the creation stories.
Hindus reincarnate and Christians go to heaven and hell. Norway was formed from the body of Ymir. Egypt's land and sky were formed by a couple sneezes getting busy. I don't believe Ilah should be called Al-Ilah (Allah), because that's an asshole thing to call a god. But I do believe in Zeus and the Tao.
The mistake you're making is trying to fit all of these beliefs into a single universe. If you believe that each culture has its own universe and that we have the ability to travel this multiverse by changing our cultural perspective, it gets way easier.
Yeah there should be something like just... Beliefs? Sure, whatever floats your boat? But there is quite some stupid shit and indoctrination built into it that im not sure if the community-is-good-idea of religion weights up against the shitty stuff? But if you just keep it to yourself, why not
