Including the entire family of Justin Amash, former US congressman, a republican that crossed the president, as they were sheltering in their Eastern Orthodox Christian Church in Gaza in the early days of the "war."
What a fucking joke. Netanyahu is "stunned and saddened" by a fucking statue after murdering tens (likely hundreds) of thousands of people, displacing millions, demolishing entire cities and towns, blocking humanitarian aid, targeting journalists and doctors, endorsing torture, and a bunch of other heinous shit I'm probably forgetting.
It's even better: it's supposedly the same mythical being, but one side thinks Jesus was Their last messenger and is even Their son, whilst the other disagrees.
They're fighting about who was and what was the nature of the last spokesperson from their mythical being.
Well it should be a surprise to no one that a person of a specific ethnicity doesn't respect other ethnicities, as fucking stupid as that is. That's life :)

I don't want to bomb and ethnically cleanse evangelical Christians just because I think they're a dangerous death cult. I don't want destroy their religious effigies and buildings, as that will accomplish nothing. Just because something awful is common does not mean we should shrug and accept it as an inevitable thing. People can easily not ethnically cleanse, and not respecting beliefs does not inevitably lead to not respecting their personhood.
