House party at apartment building? That's one of the "stopped clock being right twice a day" thing.
Fuck em, landlord kicking them out was the good outcome and they were right for once.
Yeah, within reason and taking night time peace into the consideration, but those are unlikely to bother anyone or even get caught. But getting caught already indicates it wasn't one of the quiet/not noticable ones.
Yeah, either this is a noise complaint requiring the cops or it's fair use of a residence. Unless I'm damaging the property or not paying the rent the landlord can fuck right off.

Throw it on the pile of reasons landlords shouldn't exist

Landlords are worse than people who hold house parties in apartments, but only barely.

You should be able to have a party in an apartment. Just keep the music down and if people are still drunk and loud by midnight, kick 'em out.

Yeah, that's quite likely

If they had a party and no one noticed, there wouldn't be a problem

Yeah fuck that. If a landlord showed up to the property I've leased to tell me to be quiet, I'd tell them to leave and shut the door.
If they want to call someone with the actual authority to tell me to keep it down then feel free, but otherwise they can leave

I think I'd rather see my landlord at my door than the cops?

Hell in my country if they show up without notice you can have them trespassed

The hell is a lingerie party.

It's where a bunch of gullible dudes show up expecting there to be loose women in their underwear
thenextguy@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 94d
How those loose women got in my underwear I’ll never know.

Imagine if the music video for The Middle by Jimmy Eat World ever actually happened.

I'm not sure if it would be more interesting if it was all men or if it would be more interesting if it was all women.
Siethron@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 95d
It would be most interesting if there were like 3 of one gender and 17 of the other
Tangent5280@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 82d
Nah man, that would just be scary.

I don't care the gender, I'm just sad I missed an epic party.

Based af, sounds exactly like my kind of party, especially at that age

Acting like this is anything but normal for Monterey is embarrassingly performative
