But we don't have the choice to have never existed. Once you exist, its kind of a pandora's box. And ceasing to exist after you've started to exist is a unfathomable horror.
Nah man, causing people I love to suffer on account of my actions is something I want to avoid whenever I can.
Yeah I wouldn't be around to be actively bothered by it, but I care about others and the impact I have quite a bit.
I have hope that I can help make a better tomorrow, I can't do that by causing those I love to suffer.
To be the person that someone used to know, that when conversations get close to they get quiet, and for people to hang their heads at the thought of me. I have enough people in my past that are that way, I don't want to be that person for someone else.
If you think you'll "be ready" when faced by impending oblivion, I'd say maybe, but probably not.
My maternal grampa wasn't and he was old as shit when he died. The only reason the rest of my grandparents were OK with dying is because they thought they were going to fucking heaven.
You don't have to keep living in the society you were born into, but it's a lot easier than living out in the wilderness, even with all the bullshit that comes with it.
The plan was to build those from sticks and leaf litter, based on the youtube videos ive seen, you can make almost anything in the forest with your hands and some rocks
Yes suicide only possible solution a better world isn't possible if you don't like boot flavor it's kill yourself or suffer I love liberals you make the world so good I hope you hate boot flavor

Seriously.
I have a pretty good life, but if I could, I'd go back and prevent my own birth. Working for life sucks.

Horror for you as you approach death as well.

And electricity!
akwd169@sh.itjust.works · 5 pts · 121d
Oh I just assumed thered be lots of hamsters in the wild for that, running the servers, generating electricity
Are there not?
SpongyAneurysm@feddit.org · 3 pts · 120d
You'd be far better off acquiring some solar panels and batteries, than trying to get your army of hamsters fed.
akwd169@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 120d
Do they sell those in the wilderness?
SpongyAneurysm@feddit.org · 4 pts · 120d
Probably at the same place where you can get hamster-wheel-powered generators.

Suicide bait is fine as long as it is cute?
halloejsovs@lemmy.world · 20 pts · 121d
That's your interpretation. K think lots of people get stuck in these kinds of thought loops. Although negative, they don't have to be suicidal?
ieGod@lemmy.zip · 11 pts · 121d
