Pentagon raised threat of Israeli spying on U.S. to highest level, sources say

The Pentagon’s Defense Intelligence Agency in recent weeks issued the new counterintelligence threat assessment amid rising tensions between Israel and the U.S. over the way forward in the war with Iran, the officials said. They said the DIA posted an internal message, viewed by one of the current officials, that raised the level for Israel to “critical.”

The designation stems from concerns within the Pentagon that Israel is making a particular effort to surveil top U.S. officials to get information on the Trump administration’s internal deliberations and decision-making on the conflicts in the Middle East, the officials said.

Israel has never not spied on enemies and allies alike.

I suppose having the Commander in Chief fully compromised by Israeli intelligence blackmail material is a pretty high espionage threat, yeah.

Spying? Everybody already knows all our secrets. It isn't even hard. Just tell Trump you'll pay him, and he'll tell you whatever you want to know. I'm sure all the rest of them are selling everything, too. America is totally for sale, and EVERYBODY knows it.

Man, imagine being the person at the Pentagon or the FBI in charge of stopping the Israelis from messing with American affairs. Talk about a Sisyphean task.

It's hard to stop spies when your supreme leader opens the door for them.

And the solution somehow would be to merge the military and intelligence apparati of the two countries. The US of A would become Israel's 2nd to 51st states.

Israel isn't happy with 95% of the military information we share with them so they want to steal the last 5%.

That pariah nation needs some fucking comeuppance for what they've done to our country.

When Israeli spies are caught, tried in a just court and convicted, they should face a punishment of execution, publicly. The massive damage to the globe that their spying does--like when they stole all the nuclear material from the US to build their nukes, merits that punishment and more. Its a clear act of war against the US.
