Honestly, he's not wrong, the doors are closed fully... and locked, and the key has been fed to the alligators around Alligator Auschwitz. Anyone seeking asylum in the United States at this point is clearly working on outdated information. At this point, most people should probably be trying to seek asylum from the United States and fleeing for their lives from the next stage of the persecution that is inevitably going to target them, at least if they're not willing to start actively organizing to join the resistance and fight it. Because it's coming for all of you.
