From personal experience, both are pretty cool things to show off

That's a good rock, I can see why he likes it

Also looks like a good baby. I can see why she likes it.

Also looks like a good zookeeper. I can see why they like her.

Also looks like a decent enclosure. I can see why they all live and work there

Enkrod@feddit.org · 6 pts · 38d

Well, the otters haven't really been offered a choice.

gedfromgont@piefed.ca · 28 pts · 38d (4 replies)

Maybe it is baby's first rock. From what I recall otters have a favorite rock that they carry with them in some sort of armpit pouch. They use it to open shells and whatnot.

see otters brutally destroy some innocent mollusks (cute)

diabetic_porcupine@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 38d

Yeah imagine you were the clams in the video just being brutally slammed against a rock and then eaten alive

If they are anything like my family. Mother is begging, please take this monster child away for a while. and father is trying to sweeten the deal, please. I'll even give you this best oyster cracking rock.

ProdigiousInsanity@lemmus.org · 22 pts · 38d

To be fair that's a nice rock.

kambusha@sh.itjust.works · 16 pts · 38d

Jesus Christ, Marie! They're minerals!

ikidd@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 8 pts · 38d

How much for the rock?

Sam_Bass@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 38d (1 reply)

dad says that rock goes upside the head of the first one that harms his kid

DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social · 2 pts · 38d

This is why we can't have nice things you realize

SlothMama@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 38d

It's a bribe so they can be let out

protist@retrofed.com · 6 pts · 38d

This is their escape plan. Use the rock to break the glass and knock anyone unconscious who gets in their way. Then take the child and run

What's this new trend where we are too lazy to title posts now?

funkless_eck@sh.itjust.works · 7 pts · 38d (2 replies)

mine says "made me smile" - not sure if that's what you're complaining about.

But also, I often don't read the titles, and might not notice if they disappeared so I guess it depends on the user.

NoForwadSlashS@piefed.social · 4 pts · 38d (1 reply)

Good to know it's on my end, I this is the second user I've seen with a lot of these posts titled "(content in post body)", so I thought it was becoming a trend.

toynbee@piefed.social · 1 pts · 38d

That is also what I see. Like you I'm on piefed. I am using Blorp, not sure about you.

OpenStars@piefed.social · 4 pts · 38d (3 replies)

I wonder if it is some kind of bug, maybe in scheduled posts or a third-party app that people are using that mangles them?

NoForwadSlashS@piefed.social · 2 pts · 38d (2 replies)

I notice that you're also on piefed.social and the other reply, who sees a title, is not. Probably something to do with that.

wizardbeard@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 3 pts · 38d (1 reply)

Appears to be the case, based off this comment thread: https://piefed.social/comment/12007440

The examples the guy finally posted are Lemmy posts federated to piefed.social that don't have titles in piefed but have titles in their original instance and lemmy.dbzero.com

At least you weren't raging about it.

OpenStars@piefed.social · 2 pts · 38d

(also @NoForwadSlashS@piefed.social)

Thank you, this is very interesting!

Even PieFed posts coming into PieFed.social from multiple other PieFed instances are affected.

diabetic_porcupine@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 38d

It’s a nice rock

Azzu@leminal.space · 3 pts · 38d

Is he showing a nut?

hoch@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 38d

To be fair, it's not like they make pants in his size

OpenStars@piefed.social · 1 pts · 38d

While she shows the results of his earlier nut.
