I have an exceptionally large game collection that includes even current generation console games - so PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2.

There are still games on those platforms that are fully playable from the physical media with no download required to ensure it's playable to completion.

Switch 2 is unfortunately the biggest offender with key cards, but those are easily identifiable. Other consoles I just avoid specific publishers.

No Ubisoft, no Activision-Blizzard, no Bethesda, no Microsoft Game Studios and so on. It's very possible to find completely on disk playable games, a good example of this is Pragmata and the latest Resident Evil for PS5.

FIY US minimum wage is $7.25 for non government contract employees and $2.13 for tipped workers.

Some States have higher minimums, but many do not.

The Dark Queen of Mortholme is brilliant but takes usually no more than half an hour to play through.

I bought it understanding it's length, but the art of the experience was what I wanted. It's just not objectively true that a game needs to be longer to be worth your money.

I... don't actually understand how to do that. I broke my back two decades ago, and no one ever told me after I healed I could move again the way I used to, so there are ways people understand how to move that I've just forgotten
