Next up is China and India staring at each other over the Himalaya Mountains with fingers on the button. While the US does a modern cosplay of the Hundred Years War internally.
Seems pretty obvious that it's going to be China given that China sits at the centre of production of most of the things the rest of the world consumes meaning that the global economy is centred on China.
that's where most of the tribute created by the petrodollar system and the military dominance goes to. The USA is the only country in the world allowed to print endless money thanks to the violence of its army. The tributes don't flow from the core to the periphery but from the periphery to the center.
I think it will lord over its hemisphere for quite a while after losing a grip overseas, concentrating resources, but considering how interconnected the trade system it relies on is, that might be a harder pivot that I am guessing here.

My vote goes to Iceland. No army means they can't go around invading countries whenever they feel like it, which seems like a solid improvement

There isn't going to be another America. Its hegemony is a postwar phenomenon. Say goodbye!

China, probably.
But another country / territory (probably Singapore / Hong Kong / Taiwan) might be used as the de jure centre to ease concerns from other countries.

Is the USA the „center“ of the world? In what sense are they?
