The scuttlebutt is that the LMNOP section is hard for kids to learn, especially ESL kids. Slowing down that section helps them distinguish between each letter. Personally I was taught each letter individually alongside the song. Even as a hearing impaired individual I never really had an issue with that part. I am not a child educator though, so maybe there's more research backing this up than one 30 year old anecdote.

I'm Italian and the letters sounds similar to French: doppia vu, ics, ipsilon, zeta. But the standard Italian alphabet only has 21 letters, and w, x and y are not part of the alphabet (together with j and k).
By the way, the name of "y" in French means "greek i"
I will dare to mention the new version; LMNOP is knocked down a peg because those bastards have confused young children for centuries! The new king is XYZ, especially with that non-letter &.

QRSTUV being ranked so low is purely a skill/commitment issue. You've gotta hit that shit with gusto, stick your chest out and enunciate every letter like it's Les Mis or a military march. KYOO! ARRRR! ESSSSSS! TEEEEEEYOOOOOUVEEEE.
It's one of your few opportunities to hit a nice, long, steady stride.
I'm actually curious how it's sung in Spanish, they have a few extra letters in the critical range.

I took Spanish in highschool but that was a long time ago. I vaguely recall learning a weird version of the alphabet song that starts with A, B, C, CH, D, E, F as the first grouping, but I can't recall how it went past that.

Not really, I know nothing about the channel. It's just the songs rhythm lacks any real variance and emotion, something that AI could replicate.
If they teach kids that's how to sing/talk, then the AI voices will suddenly sound "human".

I like wxyz in french. I took french like 30 years ago but the alphabet was sticky and still gets lodged in my brain sometimes due to the last bit.
(This is phonetics/pronunciation, ofc, same melody)
Doobluh-vay (double v), eeks (x, but you saw a mouse), eegrek (????), zed (zed sounds much cooler than zee, which ironically sounds more French to me)
Hands down the best part of the French alphabet.
