Well you’ll get a broken game on the disc because it’s missing the day 1 45GB patch. Even worse is that a system update that doesn’t exist yet may be needed to even play the game properly.

My cat is a long hair and sometimes gets a dingleberry stuck. Sometimes we catch it before it drops off somewhere in the house… sometimes it’s a surprise. Oh the joys of pet ownership.

I used to play pokemon at my local library every month or so. They would do big tournaments there and everything. It was quite cool seeing what all the library did.

Let people enjoy things. Geeze. It’s a great show. I only ever watched the show with my friends.

Developers don’t want to strike because a strike means no pay because we are not unionized. It’s hard to unionize when it’s easy to find a new job for people. Our leverage is just leaving. But publishing on specific platforms don’t have that option.

Wow. Meanwhile, I asked my math teacher to put the homework on the board at the start of class everyday so I could read the textbook, and teach myself and start on it while she taught the whole class. She would still call on me, but I was able to figure out the answer most of the time. After I finished, I’d play Pokémon emerald on my calculator until the bell rang.

Cassettes degrade over time so they needed to be replaced by CDs or mp3s eventually. But it’s about the device you’re listening to it on and buying a new device.

Exactly. I’m a professional, but I use AI in my work now. It makes things easier and faster (by digging though logs for 24 hours and whatnot), but I did that before.

Sure I’d be able to do my job just the same, but getting paged at 2am, I’d have to spend 45 mins figuring out what to do (clicking links, waiting for page loads, parsing 2000 log lines, etc) while AI does it in just 5-10mins. I get to focus on my actual work instead of the bullshit oncall alarms.

I hate the environmental impact, but those that know how to use it and program it are actually benefiting from it.

There is no “long term”. mRNA degrades in your body after a few days. Your immune system remembers the spike proteins. End of story. This isn’t even college level biology.

mRNA has been in development and testing for over 3 decades. The first trials were 2 decades ago. We have enough information, you just continue to choose to be obstinate and ignorant about this.

It’s statistically showing that you don’t have friends.

Seattle does this and ties it to the CPI-W. It’s currently $21.30, which isn’t the highest in the country due to surrounding cities in the same Seattle metro area having slightly more, like $21.65 in Tukwila, $21.63 in Burien, and $21.50 in Renton. Every Seattle metro area city and even unincorporated King County (6309 sqmi for all of the metro area with 4.16 million residents) all have their own city/county laws to tie it to CPI-W.

I don’t see why everyone doesn’t do this.
