I feel like I'm alone in this sentiment. Anytime someone starts name calling, I immediately think less of anything they have to say, even when I agree with it. MAGAts is far as I can take it because it still is easily digestible, and just the smallest variation of MAGA's own title. I don't even like MAGAts, I just stomach it. Not that decisions should be made just on my opinion, but clearly I'm not alone, and I imagine that extends well past Lemmy.

I watched my dad wasting away, spending the last three years of his life driving for DoorDash at age 83 for pennies before he died, because that's how badly he wanted to take care of my mom and young siblings and keep them from homelessess.
Democrats and Republicans should be everyone's enemy, because unless you haven't had to pay your own bills, mind your own kids, or shop for your own groceries lately, they damn sure are your enemies.
If you have a socialist to pick from, vote for them.
