continuing my ongoing war on hair. thats a real infrared laser unit, hence the safety goggles. only complaint is i wish the window was bigger. it takes so long to get everything i want to. doing legs, junk, belly, arms, and underarms today.

thanks :3
yeah i just get a lot of dysphoria from my body hair and i really fucking hate shaving with a burning passion, so it wound up being worth it for me. its already paid for itself at least compared to how much it would have cost to go to a professional.

I have that same laser unit. I mostly just wish it didn't get so hot. I have to stop to let it cool off too often.

omg i know. sometimes it will just stop pulsing but give no indication at all other than the red flash stops. they should have put in a bigger fan or made the fan holes bigger or something.

Yeah I actual took it apart and drilled out the holes a little bit better which I think helped slightly. But that little fan they have in there is the most efficient fan that moves the most amount of air for its size. I do 3D printing and electronics work as a hobby and use a lot of cooling fans for custom projects. 😁. I was thinking of one day maybe printing a larger case for it and adding a bigger fan and bigger cooling fins on the heat sink, but the issue is the way the focusing lens is attached to the laser is just with some aluminum tape and would be really difficult to reassemble just right if it came off. So I didn't want to take the laser assembly out, I just removes the electronics when I was drilling out the holes. I just make sure to give it a lot of rest. It does some odd things when it overheats, which isn't uncommon for electronics, plus I want it to last and overheating is the easiest way to destroy electronics. Lol. I haven't figures out a good solution yet.

I'm lucky that I'm covered for hair removal. But the journey is long. My leg/arm hair is getting patchy so it starts to work. And I have less ingrown hair too now.
