Absolutely none of them can articulate in what way anything is helping the average person.
It almost always comes back to some variation of "less woke" and "no more DEI" which somehow equals good for everyday citizens. How? shrug if you don't know and don't accept this blindly, you are a Marxist left wing socialist antifa commie terrorist.
In reality he's put there by the American elite to destroy America, so if can all be bought up cheaply and privatized by that elite. Because everything should be run like a business.
Hmm what if he was being extorted tho? IIRC there’s a chance Putin has pics of Trump sucking off Clinton. If Putin used that, pardon the pun, trump card, I could see him being quiet about it.
Yeah, he would act more coherently and benefit some particular country more. As it stands he's just an idiot flailing around as an empire is crumbling underneath his feet. The US oligarchs who got him the position are benefitting immensely in the short-term with no regard for what happens in ten years.

trump is a mushroom, the sprouting fruit of an ancient rot that’s been in your country since before its founding. not an agent of some evil Other, sent to corrupt and weaken an otherwise Good Country. the usa was never good.
I've used that to reasonable effect on my relatives. "Trump is a Russian agent" "No he's not that was never proven" "Well, if he's not getting paid by the Kremlin, he's doing everything they would pay him for for free. So, does it matter?"

"No hes doing a great job" gestures around generally
He’s not though. While he’s been consistently destructive to the United States and its people (like an adversary would want) he has not consistently benefitted any specific adversary

The common response is: Immigration and Iran. They think both are going great and are worth any cost.
They aren't approaching any of this with with logic. They are being told what and why it's good and they do not and cannot question it.

Trump's so easily manipulated I don't think there is any hold Putin has over Trump.
All he needs is to think he's getting a good deal, be told he's winning, told that [whatever] is his best idea yet and he'll do it.

I prefer to think that MAGA is right, that Trump was sent by god, which kept that bullet inches from his head.
(Un)fortunately I diverge from his supporters in that I believe God wants to destroy America (the Great Satan).
