As a bisexual, I often use the word gay to describe myself, so it isn't exclusively meant for homosexuals.

I'm ace/grayace, so definitely queer at least! But I haven't been in a relationship with anyone of the same gender, and I don't feel random sexual attraction to them or anyone, so... maybe? I'll see I guess!

It's interesting how most of the answers are not just "gay" or "straight" but more complex, because it definitely is for me. I'm pansexual but definitely more into girls. And cis male but wishing I could be a femboy lol
