The thing that I hate about self-hosting is that a lot of apps that could just be a plain offline thing are instead being designed to be super bloated server-docker things. Databases are not reasonably portable data formats.
Not even close, Linux users have been creating documentation long before Discord existed, and will continue to do so long after Discord dies. In my experience one of the most consistently great places to learn how to perform various tasks is the Arch Linux Wiki. It's extremely helpful and relevant even if you're not using Arch.
If I were trying to get info about Linux on Discord, I'd probably find myself getting upset too. It's almost like Discord just sucks or something.
If GOG just hired one full time intern to go ahead and bake Proton into their platform so they could have Linux support that isn't completely broken, I'd probably start getting more games on their platform again.
Edit: Oh, looks like it's on the way. Maybe I'd better start wishlisting.
If you include the entire history of Windows programs, I have my doubts about this. For instance I've had more consistent results running old Windows games on Linux through WINE/Proton than I had in Windows 10. Linux may have better backwards compatibility with Windows programs than modern Windows does.
Harris probably would have lost in any case, but in retrospect I wonder if she would have had a better chance if, of course, Biden dropped out sooner; and instead of the lame, "they're so weird!" angle, if she had leveraged her time in criminal justice to press hard on the fact that Trump is a fucking criminal. Like seriously, criminal vs prosecutor. The narrative could have written itself.
I wish there were mouse gloves where the tracking was on the middle finger tip, and I could press the middle, ring, or index fingertip on the desk for mouse clicks.
Am caught up on One Piece up to the end of the Egghead arc, waiting for the dub of the next arc. I don't know what to do with my life now. 🙃

That used to be my attitude about the Dragon Quest series, that they always felt so generic. Wasn't aware of how pioneering the series was.
MetaDARVO sounds like some kind of villain robot name.
Isn't there a Pebble project that lets anyone create watchfaces through easy drag and drop interactions?
I like pickles, but never see the point in getting them because sauerkraut, and kimchi, are better.
There's a disturbing lack of Phantasy Star Portable 1 & 2 in this thread.
Also want to second Rock Band Unplugged because it has similar gameplay to the ps2 game Amplitude.
Was looking to see if anyone recommended this one. Very simple game, but the action and progression are really addictive.

We don't need to replace Firefox. We need to fork it away from Mozilla, in the stewardship of a better organization.
Actions that lead to more animal harm and more animal death typically involve more harm, or even death in extreme cases, to humans as well.
But as others pointed out, this person pretty clearly cares about nothing but himself anyway. So that tracks.

You're right, I should start up a new game of Stardew Valley.
To give good advice I'd have to know what your budget is, and what systems and games you're most interested in playing.
For now I will just introduce you to the wonderful world of retro handhelds by way of a well known youtuber:

I forgot that 2E is the new version of Pathfinder, and had initially interpreted it as the Pathfinder equivalent to AD&D 2.x. 🤔
Good luck creating one of those trendy diy air filters with a bladeless fan.
