Babylon 5 remains one of the greatest tv shows ever made, on par with Stargate.

He cheated on his wife, but loads of good writers do that. He was a raging douche to Charisma Carpenter and ruined her joy in her career. But he was a d remains a spectacular writer. Just a total hypocrite, like most people in Hollywood.

My old landlord was a Vietnamese family who built an apartment complex for a family business instead of running a restaurant. I respected them, they kept the place in running order.

I feel like "landlord" is an easy group to hate, but some renters are absolutely filthy gross and I have seen what landlords sometimes deal with. No room for nuance here, of course, but how you do things matters a lot.

That's a very weird binary view. Do you think every situation involves one hero and one villain? I'd say many situations involve no heroes at all.

Yeah, gonna go against the grain and say he's a self-centered douchebag who made everything worse. He didn't "risk his life". He risked life in prison - and defected to a MUCH worse country for very, very, very stupid reasons. Any "I did it for freedom" excuses he spouted, or that you ascribe to him, are public relations bullshit.

If he had any integrity he'd have just gone to jail. Instead he went to fucking Putin, like THAT'S supporting freedom.

The modified file does not significantly change the work, and does remove attribution. You should spend some time reading up on copyright, intellectual property, and creative commons, because you have obviously not done so if you think this is arbitrary.

From a risk assessment standpoint, space exploration is a VERY good investment. We need to be on multiple planets, preferably in multiple solar systems or even multiple galaxies.

BUT. It absolutely must be paired with NOT destroying the planet we have! This is the only planet we've got right now and the only one we've got a guarantee on habitability - if we don't fuck it up.

So yes, space is vital. But so it protecting this place.
