I have 2 ThinkPads - a Yoga 370 and a Yoga X13, both running different Linux flavours and they're honestly the best laptops I've ever had. Very capable, sturdy, great keyboards, working touchscreens, pens and fingerprint scanners, passwordless encryption with TPM+LUKS.

The 370 struggles a bit with heavy browser usage sometimes but otherwise they're both rock solid

At this point it's not even the same employer. Starmer is gone, Burnham is the employer now.

Absolutely no obligation whatsoever. I think those arguing differently either don't understand or are holding this person to a higher moral standard than they would others or themselves.

It's been a bit of back catalogue work for me. Finally managed to sit through the campaign of Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime with 3 others, now with that out of the way I've started Tunic for the first time.

... And of course, there's always time for Helldivers 2.

I really want to move to Tidal, cheaper and better quality audio. I just wish they'd implement smart speaker support as that's the only blocker for my family.

Sure I can load up the app, play a song and select the speaker as a pkayback device, but for the rest of my house this is either too much effort compared to saying "play x", or they're minors without phones.

It is and you're right, but there point op was making (perhaps not very well) is that a plain monoculture grass field is about as biodiverse as a car park. In order to be a sustainable ecological habitat for life more is needed than just grass.

Water, trees, bushes, flowering plants etc. These provide shade, places to nest and food that is needed for life to thrive.

A field is essentially an ecological wasteland.
