I look to AI if I can't finish a rhyme, and absolutely in place of a dictionary and thesaurus.

Other than that, it's on my dime.

The AI can generate descriptive text. I try to make the words and the works carry feeling.

I'm glad to be here and maybe more so with the reception you've provided.

Sounds like I could definitely do without the .ml instance.

I looked at the wholesome and the uplifting Lemmy communities, thanks for those!

I'd love to start up one of my own! Dreaming about an 8 gig raspberry pi 5 with a nice external hard drive. One day.

I know you said it was okay to go dark. Next post I make is about as dark as I get.

It's called "When nothing else has worked" and it's a response to someone who left a short (suicide) note on a pole in a parking lot.

Spoiler: no tissues required.

Thank you kindly for the advice! I've added the [OC] tag.

I'm new to Lemmy, so receiving a "Wow" on my second post was awesome!

If you're looking forward to seeing more, I hope I won't disappoint. Most of my poems are intentionally positive. I don't just enjoy playing with the words—I hope each work carries feelings with it.

Thanks again for the welcome!

Best intro and approach I've ever seen!

I'm doing similarly and am moving over from another platform where I have many Pre-Existing works.

I'd be curious to hear from the community on the desired frequency of OC poetry postings?
