Honestly, another fantasy game with the gameplay of Red Dead 2 and the beauty of a world like Skyim with multi-player enabled. I live for the story, so Dragon Age 1 was my jam and BG3 is right now, but I always wish I could be playing with my partner everytime im in a game like that and it isnt allowed. I was pissed when the Tales games dropped multi-player functionality!

Youre getting down votes, but to some extent this is true. Social media in particular has a markedly bad effect on especially developing youth.

They arent hurting anyone... yet.

But they definitely stand behind the principles of those who did in the past, and presumably can be expected to in the future. All because of some beliefs about race. Some of these folks long for the days of Emmett Till to return, to be able to do the unspeakable and get away free as a bird.

They basically stand for a belief already covered in the blood of innocents. There is a reason they protest with faces covered, so no one knows who they are and what they stand for when they take the costume off and go back to real life.

Not always the case. Lots of male steers go on for regular beef production. Circa 2 years, still short compared to a real lifespan.

Not very exciting, but loved hanging out on beaches on the west coast. This one went from a dock to a nice sandy beach that was bordered by a clay cliff. Well, a friend and I roll up and run quite a distance (ah, youthful energy!) exploring along the clay cliffs when the waves get weirdly big and loud. I guess the tide was actually coming in, not going out, and the cliffs weren't climbable. Only way safely out was off the beach and back to the dock. The stretch we were on wasn't even accesible at high tide, totally underwater. My friend was a big fella, but he tucked it in and ran with me like Ive never seen him run before. We were fine, but I remember feeling that realization strike.

Youre right. It still seems relevant to me that even among the childed, there seem to be "levels" of whose kids are automatically privy to easier/better care. But yes...

I recall a coworker who drove truck getting hell for staying home with his wife when they had to put down their beloved dog. One guy scoffed and said it was ridiculous and he needed to man up and show up instead of using time off for a dog. I was floored. Seems like if youre high enough up, you can take a day off for anything and everyone just assumes it must be for a good enough reason...

I think this shows up in various ways. Watching a salaried worker come in late, stay home cause kids are sick, take off early because kids have dental appt, etc versus watching the low paid hourly worker under them go without pay to take care of all the same things because they aren't salaried, have no wfh ability, and are out of leave from using it so often sucks.

This is true. Company could easily wait a while then hit OP with a vaguely worded pip. Bam, magically they get let go for "performance" issues that seemingly have nothing to do with how they take their lunches.
