Way back in 2006 the building next to the one I lived in caught fire. Because it was old wood structures, fairly close together, everyone had to evacuate.
At one point a firefighter came out on the French balcony at the third floor of the building they were putting out, smoke billowing around them, and a waterfall pouring around their feet down on to the street below, it was epic. In the commotion I remembered to save my laptop, but the camera was sitting at my desk throughout the event…
Ever since Apollo shut the doors I’ve not had a user there. I still keep tabs on a few communities that don’t really have a presence here, but only lurking, no participation.
Since we’re being sticklers here, the correct term would be Anthropogenic, as in comes from humans, anthropomorphic would be global climate change with human appearance or qualities.
That’s some impressive progress! I’m sorry I didn’t catch this update before now.
This makes me think it should be possible to use an arduino due (which has a proper DAC) to send a custom calibration when the scanner expects it. It might even be feasible to add a transistor to the ground path of the LED, let it do the calibration, and disable during scanning. Could maybe produce some nice results!
These days I’m busy with another project, but you’re doing some very cool research!
Great shot! Is that the Oslo Opera House?
If the tap is chemically fine, but still tastes awful, I get buying bottled water instead
Fire would only make it more awesome
In Oslo we have a really nice red one.
A quick search gave me this looks like the course has come quite a long way (haven’t looked beyond the opening page, though)

20 years later and I’m still thinking about it…
Luckily there were only material damages, and only minor injuries if any, I would have remembered any casualties.

That toaster really was automatic beyond belief
Imagine using your numbered days to spread hate on the internet, what a horrible existence it must be..
But wouldn’t requireing two fluoridated carbon atoms instead of just one to qualify as PFAS, encompass less chemicals, thus narrowing the definition?

Deus ex Soundtrack was brilliant, the NES megaman 2 and 3 soundtracks are also pure gold
I saw the second one in IMAX, in 3D, with variable framerate, was a fun experience. Isn’t the whole point of these to technology-Max?
