What world are you on? Approximately 13% to 20% of the world's soy is used directly for oil (both human consumption and industrial/biofuel use). While nearly 77% of global soybean production is crushed for animal feed.

Definitely not! That would make things soo much worse. Expanding the protection areas and allowing for new growth and encouraging the biodiversity. The environmental impact of forests isn't limited to carbon. They impact water cycles and ground temperatures as well.
Having seen people in murder mode, people do the same thing. It's really unsettling to see.

The main profit of the crop is the animal feed. With less of that there would be less used. Also the oil is an inefficient use of land.
