if you actually read the manga you'd know it can be goofy as hell and look rather similar in tone to the right one. nobody is taking away the movie from you. you can still enjoy it. i don't even know if the new anime is good on its own but this right panel is certainly not a mark against it.

maybe i'm a bit odd for my reason but i don't like their price model. that they try to price themselves like a mobile contract where things are cheap initially so you subscribe and then they get more expensive once you are in their ecosystem. no company that really cares to do right by users should do things like that.

and this despite them wanting to be a non profit company? i get that you still gotta make money of course but you can also do that by having one month and 12 month cost the same or maybe mostly the same.

and on top of this then there's also that? this is the same browser and the same cookies i just once googled for their vpn prices and once i went over their general pricing page that started with mail pricing and then switched over to vpn pricing. i'm not logged in with them or anything.

one tries you to buy into a two year plan and the other into a one year plan but why do they even have two different types of trying to get new customers kind of deals and one is worse than the other? just makes me not like them.

while i don't use them as my main browser it feels vivaldi is one of the few ones who at least tries something new. who isn't just trying to emulate chrome with a few quality of life ones. i remember them introducing tiled tabs, stacked tabs, the tab bar on the sides or the bottom, way before i've seen any other browser do that? might not have been the first with all of those but at least firefox, chrome and edge didn't have that as an option back then

there are many different options of mods and mod packs where as there is only one option of vanilla. vanilla isn't bad but if you played it a bit much eventually it does get boring and mods offer much more options.

edit: i also don't think vanilla has a vision or direction. it feels a bit they go in no certain direction while trying to add things that don't make anyone stop playing. where as a mod pack can change how minecraft plays a lot

for one, the term AI has become loaded and anyone using it has to know what kind of baggage comes with it. but for another this isn't just anything with AI. it's OpenAI specifically. this is not just a neat science thing it's a company doing indirect marketing and whitewashing of their tech. trying to get a better image than what i and many think they deserve.

so yes people will not want to let this type of marketing and image whitewashing happen will downvote.

i hope this is the nuance you were missing. it doesn't change anything on my dislike for this tho. as cool as it might be if you ignore everything else that surrounds this headline.
