Bist Du bei einer Firma einfach so regulär angestellt? -> Vorher abstimmen, Krankmeldung/AU einreichen, keinen Ärger im Team wg. kurzfristiger Engpässe an Leuten.

Bist Du in einem "prekären" Arbeitsverhältnis und das Verhältnis zu Deinem Arbeitgeber ist eh nicht so gut - vielleicht lieber krank werden als vorher Bescheid geben.

Übrigens: Nach der Entlassung krank schreiben darf Dich das Krankenhaus nur bis zu 7 Tage, Verlängerung nur über Deinen Hausarzt.

Hmmm. For me it feels rather like the subsidies paid by the Chinese government to make their products cheaper. And gather all kinds of information in the process.

Yes, you can run the open source models locally, but who does this with the "frontier" models? Especially since the author remarks on the cheaper plans Kimi offers.

You just switch control from one to the other. And the data flow, of course.

I'm not saying that "Western" (read: US) control of our data is good - just that the argument of having control while using a Chinese model is maybe flawed.
