Go Go Town on steam came out recently, co-op available local or online, controller compatible, up to 4 players (aside: you didn't tell us how many players needed, but stardew is 4 so I'm going to assume a 4 max isn't a problem). Not sure on system requirements, might be a little heavier than stardew but it's not all that graphically intense. Had a blast playing it local co-op with the kids.
Gameplay loop is familiar: extract resources to grow your town, unlock higher tiered buildings, eventually automating most of the logistics such that it runs itself like a little town simulator. The game is very casual friendly and forgiving, for example, you can freely just pick up and move a building, no reconstruction or lost costs, you can't really "die", and if you need to step away, shops might run out of inventory and stop producing but they won't death spiral or anything.
Oh, no the Democrats quite intentionally did what the Republicans have done in Texas and 5 or 6 other red states, all coincidentally the same ones that condoned slavery. That was kind of the point. Really the best case scenario would have been the SCOTUS used the opportunity to not only strike down Virginia's map but also all the other newly crafted spaghetti districting going on. But of course, none of that. Just tossed Virginia's while leaving all the red states to do what they want.

I think an appropriate response to this is to demonstrate that you're allowing AI to answer their question, rather than involve your own cognitive time. It's basically the same thing as letting your phone answer a suspicious call with a generic "please state your name and why you're calling". It doesn't just save you time, it very deliberately declares a boundary that says "you can waste your time on this bot, but you're not getting my time".

Some of it too is differing audiences/communities. You might tell a joke in front of your poker bros that you wouldn't tell in front of your kids ... and there's nothing wrong with that.

Much like the corporate, "middle class" white collar structure depends on keeping people too indebted to ever really have power or freedom to negotiate for fairness, the military also depends on underpaying and overworking its people. They have to provide that same level of inadequacy, and then, make not getting it even more unbearable.
When you start to look at the math, a lot of the previously incomprehensible decisions of the government start to make sense. Why is abortion illegal? Because given free choice, poor people stop reproducing at levels needed to maintain the slave wage labor when they can't afford the basic necessities to raise a family. Or more specifically, women do... you can find a willing sperm donor, but the mom gets told by society don't have a baby you can't afford, and does exactly that. And then they trot out a whole "God doesn't like this" moral argument, all while happily looking the other way when it's clear a bunch of their leaders party fucked kids on an offshore island.
I'd like to believe at least some of it is false flag ops. Or foreign powers seeking to create more chaos and disruption. But, some of it is people pushing for an acceleration of leftist policies. They see socialism succeeding in China, and Europe, and become frustrated that it's so demonized at home. They see unfathomable deaths unnecessary in parts of the world, and become self-knighted champions to fight against it. They mean well. They just don't have the patience of years of watching the pace of change creep, to emotionally deal with someone not instantly converted to their cause the way they were.
People are still paying over 100k for a bitcoin. Which in my opinion, is equally absurd and doomed to fail. Like yea, if you bought one for 2 dollars and turned it into 100k you won investing and maybe established generational wealth. But the same could be said if you managed to catch the windfall of NFTs, it doesn't change the fact that it's stupid to assign billions of dollars in value to a global game of guess the number.
This is the key thing many criminals fail to understand. The fact Miranda rights exist and the officer just had the balls to read them to you and still wants to engage, should be a red flag as to just how much of a disadvantage you are at in the impending battle of wits.
