I've watched a few of their videos and definitely the content is validating, but I don't find it terribly useful. They are trying to sell their package of ND self-help products.. which is fine, I guess? As long as it isn't a rip-off.
In some cases, they might be looking for unsecure devices.. but really I think the main use case for LG is to identify the devices. They are more interested in knowing what and whose products you have. And maybe also to what degree they identify individual people by the unique characteristics.
Your phone, for example, would communicate its response to this scan using a unique physical ID (MAC address), and that ID would stay consistent regardless of what wifi network you were on. So you see how that's useful to fucking Palantir or whoever wants it.
smart devices belong in an isolated network zone on your network.
I realize (and so does LG and many others) that smart devices offer a back door through perimeter security defenses. They understand that most people cannot defend themselves against (or even understand) this and also effectively use the product at the same time.
Effectively, many smart devices are trojan horses. Limit how many you use, understand whether or not they actually need persistent internet access, and segment your network if you have the ability.
I have a lot of Sony gear; I've been really happy with the quality.. but I'll look elsewhere as they have been self-destructing as a company for a while now. I know their TVs are going to be crappier than they have been, because they stopped making them themselves. Probably the audio gear will be next.
I got some work accommodations that allow me to do more of my work remotely. So from a practical sense, thats been good.
Otherwise, having confirmation has helped me work on my life from this lens. I think thats allowed some things to improve, but it really hasn't solved anything.
I think I understand what you are describing as a resistance and not so much an immunity. Don't get me wrong, it's very helpful to have an antithetical disposition toward the offending article. I think, for a lot of people, that is enough to allow them to resist the problems or allow them to avoid entanglement a lot of the time.
My argument is that even these people can become entangled and their thoughts hi-jacked. Sometimes, when people are not at their best, their resistances slip. Events and stresses in their life maybe, or a blind-spot for a certain category that allows the 'infection', so-to-speak, by proxy.
Building habitual processes to disentangle and detox is how to backtop inherent resistance. Failure to do that leaves the side or back door open to exploitation. I hope you understand what I am saying.
And yeah, he seems to prioritize that because it encompasses WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE... and those people are stupid af and programmed to follow their designated authority, unfortunately.

Well, I can appreciate your sense of frustration.
The response itself lacks any qualifying element to support your position or provide a point of view worth considerIng.
It’s impossible to consider it an argument worth contemplation.
..I guess I’m just too thoughtless and ignorant to discern an actual point to your outburst.
Well thanks for tip, i guess? I do see the setting in iOS.
Ya, I’m a 100% go for this; Ukraine gets to come too.
We get it, you don”t like the EU.
The idea of deeper ties with them is offensive to you.
What’s your idea to rapidly improve our economic and defensive position in the face of American aggressions ?
definitely agree with i_stole_your_taco; especially the part about finding a good fit for quality or personality.
There are some real lackluster pairings that can happen... and that just means to try someone else, not to give up.
Amazing. Real leadership on display here; human-centric values.

Braindead comment.
Sony fully-embracing its enshittification arc.

Temba, his arms wide.
Nonononono... it's to make you more easily controllable
Yeah, I used to think that about myself. It's not true. Hard lessons await. Best of luck.

Cool. I like it
Distractions, distractions, distractions.
Trump and team torpedoed the trade deal and its a political disaster for them. Now pay attention to Lake Ontario and trans rights.
Shit... the only issue wit staying power was Epstein... but starting a war eventually took care of that.
